Road Racing - S-Matrix MSR Ultimate CompoundBendix's S-Matrix (sintered matrix) racing brake pads are the ultimate race pads from Bendix. These pads are designed for road race use only. In fact, we're talking top level road racing such as Grand Prix, Superbike, Endurance and Supersport/Superstock. These pads provide very high initial bite with a very "flat" or level stopping power (little or no servo effect if you like). Wear rates are praised by our World Endurance race teams, whom managed to race full 24H distance on the same set of pads (special Endurance Racing brake calipers / 9 mm friction material) For World Supersport our teams fit new pads for Sunday warm-up and do the race with bedded pads. The following race meeting the race pads are used for all practice and qualifying sessions. This means 1 set of pads for 1 World Championship meeting, the pads are still OK for further use but they do a lot of km´s in a weekend and this is their procedure for best performance and safety. Bendix has developed S-Matrix pads to bring a braking advantage at the highest levels of motorcycle racing and may only be used for front wheel applications. Part numbers for S-Matrix pads have a "MSR" prefix. |

High Performance Road - MF/MR CompoundBendix's Supersport range of pads are appropriate for today's high powered road bikes, and the demanding rider. Supersport pads are suitable as OEM replacement parts and are available for both front and rear wheel applications. No matter what riding conditions you are in, you can rely on Bendix pads to bring you faithfully to a stop when and where you want. These pads provide excellent performance through the unique formula system, using a very high friction level for the front and a medium level at the back. This provides well balanced braking performance. Bendix sintered pads are competitively priced, kind on disc rotors whether cast iron or stainless steel and provide good wear rates. Part numbers for sintered front pads have a "MF" prefix. To view the coefficient of friction chart for this compound, click here. Part numbers for sintered rear pads have a "MR" prefix. Road Racing - MCR CompoundBendix's C-Matrix (carbon matrix) racing brake pads are made using a compound of several types of carbon materials. These pads are designed for road race use only. In fact, we're talking top level road racing such as Grand Prix, Superbike, Endurance and Supersport/Superstock. These pads provide superlative performance, especially when high thermal stability is required, along with superior wear rates. Never use these pads for normal road use. Bendix has recently developed C-Matrix pads to bring a braking advantage at the highest levels of motorcycle racing and may be used for front or rear wheel applications. These pads feature thermal transfer technology so please adhere to the bedding-in procedure when using them. Remember that C-Matrix pads need to be kept 'hot' to work properly, some front wheel applications may be better suited to MRR compound pads and some rear applications to MR or MA compound pads depending on circuit and weather conditions etcetera. Have you got the fingers and finesse for C-Matrix? Part numbers for C-Matrix pads have a "MCR" prefix. To view the coefficient of friction chart for this compound, click here. |

Road and Endurance Racing - MRR CompoundBendix's road and endurance racing pads are designed specifically to meet the extreme demands of motorcycle racing. These pads are suitable only for front wheel applications. Racers should use either MA, MR or MCR compound pads for rear wheel applications. MRR compound pads provide superb braking performance with very high initial bite as they retain some heat, even with infrequent applications. They are also friendly to rotors and provide good wear for racing pads. This compound is particularly good for race tracks or climatic conditions where the brakes can cool down a lot, which can cause braking problems with other compounds. Bendix pads are used by top racers throughout the world - surely they can't all be wrong. If you race your bike to the max, get it to stop to the max as well, get Bendix. Part numbers for sintered front racing pads have a "MRR" prefix. To view the coefficient of friction chart for this compound, click here. |
